In a superseding indictment, a federal grand jury in the Southern District of Florida charged appellants Robert Louis Beasley, Jr. (“Beasley”), Rufus Pace, Sr. (“Pace”), Er*1521nest Lee James (“James”), Richard Ingraham (“Ingraham”), Linda ■ Gaines (“Gaines”), Walter Lightburn (“Lightburn”), Yahweh Ben Yahweh (“Yahweh”),1 and 12 codefendants with a RICO conspiracy, under 18 U.S.C. § 1962(d) (count I). Count I listed 192 racketeering acts of murder, extortion, and arson.
