delivered the opinion of the court:

Patricia Graham, the respondent, was found to be a person in need of mental treatment (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 91%, par. 1 — 11), and was committed to the custody of the Illinois Department of Mental Health. The respondent appeals from the order and the issue raised on review is whether the State proved by clear and convincing evidence that respondent was a person in need of mental treatment.
