H. H. Dotson on September 1,1909, was tbe owner of a certain lot of vacant land situated in tbe town of Glade-ville, Wise county, Va., and on that day sold and conveyed tbe same to tbe Wise Hotel Company, reserving in .tbe conveyance a vendor’s lien upon tbe lot for $3,000 of tbe purchase money, evidenced by three several notes of even daté with tbe deed, páyable respectively at three, four, and five years from their date, with interest on each payable annually.
