This is an appeal by plaintiff-appellant’s attorney from a sanction imposed by the trial court against him under Civ. R. 11.

Civ. R. 11 provides:

“Every pleading of a party represented by an attorney shall be signed by at least one attorney of record in his individual name, whose address shall be stated. * * * Except when otherwise specifically provided by these rules, pleadings need not be verified or accompanied by affidavit.
