On October 6, 2005, the plaintiffs, Joie Jolevare and Salome Tinker, filed the complaint in this action 1 alleging violations of the District of Columbia Human Rights Act (“DCHRA”), D.C.Code § 2-1402.11 (2001) (Count I), breach of contract (Count II), defamation (Count III), and negligence (Count IV)- Specifically, the plaintiffs contend that the defendant, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
