OPINION

Before RABINOWITZ, C. J., and CONNOR, ERWIN, BOOCHEVER and FITZGERALD, JJ. FITZGERALD, Justice.

Patrick Michael Ames was convicted of rape 1 and sentenced to a term of eight years’ imprisonment. Ames now appeals from the conviction and sentence.

In his appeal from the conviction, Ames contends that the trial court committed error in several evidentiary rulings during cross-examination of the victim, Donna Lee Knight, on 18 year-old girl.
