OPINION

RABINOWITZ, Justice.

Roger Padie appeals from his conviction of manslaughter which was entered following his plea of nolo contendere pursuant to a plea agreement negotiated with the state.

Padie’s conviction arises out of an incident which occurred twelve years ago when Padie was eighteen years old. In the fall of 1966, Padie’s girlfriend, Judy Braeger, transferred from East High School where both she and Padie were students to West High School.
