LETTS, District Judge.
Before the court is the motion of plaintiffs Lohren Price, et al., for award of attorney’s fees pursuant to 42 U.S.C § 1988, which came for hearing regularly on September 15, 1997.
This court has previously detailed the difficulty faced by a trial court judge when applying the law of both the United States Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit with respect to attorney’s fee awards pursuant to the Civil Rights Attorney’s Fees Award Act of Í976.
