This action was commenced by Elizabeth- Morrow against the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad Company to recover damages on account of personal injuries sustained by being thrown from a horse which became frightened by a hand-car, as she was about to cross the track of the railroad. The fright of the horse, she alleges, was caused by the agents and servants of the railroad company in negligently and carelessly placing the hand-car on the public highway by the side of the railroad in such a position as to cause her horse — which is a…
