Shaw v. Lindsley

The appellants, as contestants below, brought this suit to contest an election held in the city of Dallas, Tex., on April 4, 1916, in which certain proposed changes to the existing charter of the city of Dallas were submitted under the Home-Rule Bill (Laws 1913, p. 307). The said election was held on the same day as a general election in said city, wherein a president and members of a school board were to be selected.
