WOODALL, Justice.
The plaintiffs appeal from a summary judgment for the defendant, Furon Company (“Furon”). We affirm.
On March 16, 1995, Bruce McGraw was employed by Diamond Rubber Products Company (“Diamond”) to operate various machines involved in the processing of used rubber at its Birmingham plant. One of the machines processed batches of rubber removed from a rubber mill, and was referred to as a batch-off machine.
