Plaintiffs, the children of Joseph R. Donnelly, Sr., brought suit against defendant Washington National Insurance Company (Washington National) alleging in count I of their amended complaint that Washington National refused to pay a valid claim for life insurance, and alleging in count II that the insurance company’s actions were fraudulent.
