In this appeal by the defendant, Ernest Washington, from his conviction for the unlawful delivery of a substance containing heroin, only one issue is raised. That issue is whether the trial court abused its discretion by improperly admitting for impeachment purposes evidence of the defendant’s prior convictions of the unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
