Appellant, Dennis Joe Pharris, has appealed the trial court’s denial of bail from the third in a series of indictments and complaints filed against him by the consumer fraud division of the Harris County District Attorney’s Office between June of 2004 and April of 2005. Mr. Pharris alleg es that “[t]he prosecutor’s transparent attempt to serially charge Pharris and indefinitely imprison him violates the spirit of Article I, Section 11a [of the Texas Constitution], which is strictly construed in favor of bail.” Appellant originally requested that this Court reverse the trial court’s…
