Christopher Rubin Priester was charged in two indictments and one accusation with three counts of theft by receiving an automobile, two counts of leaving the scene of an accident, aggravated assault on a police officer, felony obstruction of an officer, and driving with a suspended license. The charges were joined for trial on the State’s motion. A directed verdict was granted on the charge of driving with a suspended license, and a jury found him guilty of all remaining offenses.
