This is an appeal from an order of the Special Term of this court entered in Albany county on the 23d day of March, 1.897, denying relator’s motion for a peremptory writ of mandamus.

At a meeting of the board of supervisors of Albany county in 1896, the relator presented a .claim', containing,, among other items, one of fifty-two dollars and fifty cents for services in assorting and arranging jury slips, etc., by the county clerk of said county.
