The definition of an inn, given by Mr. Justice Bayley, in Thompson v. Lacy, 3 B. and Aid. 286, as “ a house where a traveller is furnished with everything which he has occasion for while on his way,” is comprehensive enough to include every description of an inn; but a house that does not fill the full measure of this definition may be an inn. It probably would not now be regarded as essential to an inn that wine or spirituous or malt liquors should be provided for the guests.
