MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

This is an action in which the plaintiff seeks to recover compensation from the United States, alleging that the latter took, pursuant to Public Law 89-318, 79 Stat. 1185, the rifle used in the slaying of President John F. Kennedy and the revolver used in the slaying of Officer J. D. Tippit.
