This action is brought for the recovery of a balance due on a promissory note. The note was dated on the ist day of March, 1920. The amount of the note is $6,960, and was payable on or before the ist day of March, 1925. The action was not commenced until the 7th day of April, 1931, six years, one month and seven days after the due date of the note. The answer admits the execution of the note, and as a defense thereto pleads the six-year statute of limitations (Rev. Code 1919, § 2298). The defendants Alfred Ashdown and Cora O.
