This was an action in the court below brought by J. M. Beach against Mary E. Wood, to recover the possession of the northeast quarter of section 1, township 26, range 20, in Allen county. At the June term, 1889, judgment was rendered for the plaintiff and against the defendant, and Mrs. Wood brings the case here.
The husband of Mrs. Wood, C. B. Wood, deceased, made a settlement upon the laud on June 8,1870, and made lasting and valuable improvements. J. M. Beach claims title through conveyances from the Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railroad…
