This is a suit under Section 301 of the Labor Management Relations Act of 1947, 29 U.S.C. § 185, in which the plaintiff, Western Electric Company (hereafter referred to as “Company”) asks the Court to vacate and set aside the award of the Board of Arbitration issued in favor of the Communication Equipment Workers, Inc. (hereafter referred to as “Union”). The Union has counterclaimed to have the arbitration award confirmed, and both parties have moved for summary judgment.
