Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court (Dowd, J.), entered May 18, 2000 in Chenango County, which dismissed petitioner’s application, in a proceeding pursuant to CPLR article 78, to review a determination of respondent County Sheriff denying petitioner benefits pursuant to General Municipal Law § 207-c.
