GRAVES, Presiding Judge.

Appellant was charged with the unlawful possession of intoxicating liquor for the purpose of sale in Crosby County, a dry area. Upon his trial therefor he was found guilty and assessed a fine of $800.00 and 60 days in jail, and he appeals therefrom.

The testimony shows that a 19-year-old Negro boy named Earl Grant lived at a place under the control of Mr. Loyd Park-hill in Crosby County, Texas, and was employed by him. Some few months prior to the trial this Negro boy met Mr. Long, the appellant, who was nicknamed Mr. Chubby, and was kindly treated by him at his gas…
