Before the Court are cross-motions for partial summary judgment in this adversary proceeding. Mesabi Metallics Company LLC (f/k/a Essar Steel Minnesota LLC ("ESML") (hereinafter "Mesabi" or the "Plaintiff") is an iron ore mining and processing company, and the reorganized debtor. The dispute here centers around certain mineral leases (collectively, the "Leases") in the Mesabi Range in Minnesota that it has held as lessee since 2006.
