Defendant, Jose Rojas, appeals from his convictions for first degree murder by personally discharging a firearm and first degree murder while armed with a firearm after a jury trial. He was tried with his codefendant Erik Ramirez before separate juries that were excused at those points necessary to protect them from duplicative or inadmissible testimony.
