Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Columbia County (Leaman, J.), rendered November 4, 1985, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crime of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree.

*841Defendant was indicted for criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree as the result of his sale of a package containing cocaine to an undercover State Trooper for $10.
