Plaintiff, Laura Hickey, sued the Irving Independent School District and several of its officers (hereafter collectively “USD”), alleging that IISD failed to accommodate her medical disability, in violation of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, 29 U.S.C. § 794, and tortiously exposed her to harmful substances, all while she was a student at Irving High School. The district court dismissed Hickey’s complaint on the grounds that it was barred by the statute of limitations.
