After a trial by jury, the defendant, Larry Chace, was convicted of murder in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54a. The trial court subsequently sentenced him to a term of imprisonment of *103not less than seventeen years nor more than life. He appeals claiming (1) that there was insufficient evidence to convict him of murder, (2) that the prosecutor made improper comments to the jury which deprived him of his right to a fair trial, and (3) that he was denied his right to effective assistance of counsel. We find no error.
