Following Elbe Grizzle’s (“Grizzle”) termination from her employment by Travelers Health Network, Inc. (“Travelers”) her former employer, she brought suit against it in the district court, alleging age discrimination, retaliatory discharge for complaining of age discrimination pursuant to the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (“ADEA”), 1 and intentional infliction of emotional distress (“IIED”) pursuant to Texas law.
