The 1946 session of the General Assembly enacted KRS 36.060 creating what is known as the Kentucky Disabled Ex-Servicemen’s Board, an independent agency of the State Government with full executive powers in administering the provisions of the Act. It is provided that the Board shall be composed of the Lt. Governor, Adjutant General, and three appointed members.
