WOOD, District Judge.

The defendant shipowner has moved alternatively to dismiss this action for personal injuries brought by the plaintiff longshoreman or for summary judgment or for a more specific complaint.

The Complaint states that on May 25, 1962, the plaintiff suffered an accident while working as a longshoreman loading cargo aboard the S/S HORACE IRVINE, a ship owned by the defendant.
