Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Tioga County (Sgueglia, J.), rendered November 29, 1999, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of robbery in the second degree.

On this appeal from the judgment of conviction rendered *872upon his plea of guilty of the crime of robbery in the second degree, defendant contends that his plea allocution is insufficient in that it fails to demonstrate the factual basis for the physical injury element of the crime and that, therefore, County Court erred in accepting his plea.
