MURNAGHAN, Circuit Judge:
Oroweat Foods Co., the defendant, has appealed from a judgment for the plaintiff, Richard C. Johnson, in a breach of contract action initiated in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Oroweat does not contest the jury’s finding of liability for breach of contract, but it does appeal the method and amount of the district judge’s award of damages based on the jury’s answers to special interrogatories.
