In a child custody and visitation proceeding pursuant to Family Court Act article 6, the mother appeals from an order of the Family Court, Kings County (Staton, J.H.O.), dated December 13, 2010, which, in effect, granted the father’s motion to dismiss her petition to modify a prior order of visitation of the Family Court, Albany County (Maney, J.), dated August 22, 2008, on *866the ground that the Family Court, Kings County, lacked jurisdiction.
Ordered that the order dated December 13, 2010, is reversed, on the law, without costs or disbursements, the motion to dismiss the petition is denied, and…
