Appellee, Jackson, instituted this suit in the district court of Dallas county, Tex., to recover damages in the sum of $1,999 for personal injuries received by his wife through the negligence of appellant’s employes, while assisting her to board one of appellant’s passenger trains at Raysville, La., on March 29, 1909.
