The circuit courts of this State, by the act of 1895 amending section 97 of chapter 46, entitled “Elections,” (2 Starr & Cur. Stat.—2d ed.—sec. 97, p. 1661,) are given jurisdiction to hear and determine contests of the election of mayors of cities.
