The plaintiff, a black citizen, originally filed this action on March 13, 1986; his second amended complaint alleges that defendants Robert Raymond and Dow Chemical Company violated Title 42 U.S.C. § 1981, and that Dow also violated Title VII (42 U.S.C. §§ 2000e-2 and 2000e-3), by discriminating against him on the basis of his race.
