delivered the opinion of the court.

By this writ of error, defendant seeks the reversal of a decree of the circuit court of Cook county granting complainant separate maintenance. The decree also dismisses defendant’s cross-bill, in which he charges complainant with desertion.

The principal grounds for reversal raised by defendant are that there is no charge in the bill for separate maintenance that complainant is living separate and apart from defendant without her fault, and that there is no allegation that he is a resident of the county in which the action is…
