—Judgment, Supreme Court, New York County (Richard Carruthers, J., at suppression hearing; Frederic Berman, J., at jury trial and sentence), rendered April 10, 1995, convicting defendant of burglary in the first and second degrees, attempted coercion in the first degree, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, and sentencing him, as a persistent violent felony offender, on the burglary convictions to terms of 13 years to life and 10 years to life, respectively, and sentencing him, as a second felony offender, to terms of 2 to 4 years on the attempted coercion…
