The Chancery Division disqualified University Hospital’s (Hospital) Medical Executive Committee (MEC) from serving as the hearing tribunal respecting plaintiffs application for renewal of staff privileges. The court also barred the Board of Trustees (Board) of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (University) from reviewing the MEC’s decision in the event of an appeal.
