This is an appeal by the plaintiff, David R. Richard, from the denial of his claim against the estate of his deceased uncle, Alphonse Richard, for specific performance of an alleged oral contract.

The parties do not challenge the sufficiency of the evidence supporting the trial court’s rejection of the oral contract claim. Nor is there any issue in this appeal concerning the propriety of James S. Phillips, Sr., having acted as attorney for both the proposed ward, Alphonse Richard, and David R.
