This is an appeal from a Superior Court order granting with prejudice the motion of the North Providence Federation of Teachers (the union) to dismiss the complaint of the plaintiff School Committee of the Town of North Providence (the school committee).
On August 18, 1977, an arbitrator issued an award in favor of the union after a hearing in which he found that the school committee had violated two contractual provisions of its collective-bargaining agreement with the union.
