The Supreme Court remanded this case to us for reconsideration in the light of State v. Click, 305 Or 611, 755 P2d 693 (1988). At issue is defendant’s affirmative defense of lack of notice that his license had been suspended. We reverse and remand.

Defendant was arrested for driving while suspended. At trial, the parties stipulated that he was driving a motor vehicle on a public street and that, at the time, his license to drive was suspended. He asserted the affirmative defense of lack of notice, ORS 811.180(l)(b), and testified that he did not know of the suspension until he was arrested.…
