Hatcher, Judge:

This writ of error involves the validity of the appointments of six school teachers for the school year of 1933-4 by a district board of education in Wayne County. The appointments were made, and contracts pursuant thereto (definite as to terms and salaries) were executed, during the first week in January, 1933. The county board of education (successor of the district board under the County Unit Bill which became effective on May 22, 1933) refused to recognize the appointments.
