GARRISON, Judge.

Justin E. Witte (“Defendant”) was convicted by a jury of armed criminal action, § 571.015, RSMo 1994, and robbery in the first degree, § 569.020, RSMo 1994. He was sentenced as a prior and persistent offender to thirty years on the robbery charge and fifteen years on the armed criminal action charge, with the sentences to be served consecutively.
