The plaintiff, Virginia Auster, brought this action pursuant to General Statutes § 22-3571 to recover damages for personal injuries alleged to have been caused by the dog of an employee of the defendant, Norwalk United Methodist Church. After a jury trial, the verdict was returned in favor of the plaintiff, and the defendant appealed.
