The defendant was issued three summons by the Nassau County Police Department on October 6, 2005: violating the speed limit, not wearing a seat belt, and failure to produce proof of valid insurance. Arraignment was scheduled for December 7, 2005 but the defendant failed to appear. On December 8, 2005, the Village issued a warning letter to the defendant, with a rescheduled arraignment date. On January 4, 2006, the defendant again did not appear at the rescheduled arraignment, and his license was suspended. The defendant then came to the Justice Court…
