MEMORANDUM OPINION
MOTLEY, District Judge.
Plaintiff Jose Fernandez was a longshoreman employed as a holdman by third-party defendant Maher Stevedoring, Inc. (“Maher”). On September 1, 1968, he was injured aboard the SS CHIOS, owned by defendant and third-party plaintiff Chios Shipping Company, Ltd.
