This is an action by the buyer to recover damages for the breach of an alleged contract for the sale of hemlock logs. Defendant appeals from a judgment entered on a verdict awarding plaintiff $77,000 damages.
There was evidence which would establish the following facts. Defendant’s logging manager, Bay Ayers, and plaintiff’s log buyer, Ziegler, met on June 1, 1967 to view a stand of timber which defendant planned to log.
