The land in controversy in this action comprises 131 acres. Appellant purchased the premises in 1917 from one Robinson. He paid therefor $6,000 in cash, and executed to Robinson two mortgages on said premises, one for $12,000 and one for- $8,000. In 1919, appellant sold the land in question to the appellees Younker and Barrick for $40,479. The same year, these vendees sold the property to one Coon, who, in turn, in 1919, sold the land to McGuire and wife. The last sale was for $47,422.
